One thing I am proud of is that I’m a Chinese. Every morning when the sun rises, many people would go to the Tian An Men Square to watch the raising of our national flag. One day, I went there too. When the national song was played, I feel so proud of myself being a Chinese, that I sang the song loudly. Recent years have seen a great change in my motherland and the Chinese people have been better off. With the economy growing so fast, China today has become one of the powerful and rich countries in the world. We have won more respect from people all over the world. And when we become rich, we do not forget the poor developing countries in Africa and the poor people in the backward regions of our own country. We are happy to help them. Now, I’m still a student, but I'm working hard so as to build China richer and stronger.

有一件事我很自豪的是，我是一个中国人。每天早晨，当太阳升起的时候，许多人去天安门广场观看升国旗的我们。有一天，我也去了。当国歌奏响，我感到自己是一个中国人而自豪，我大声唱这首歌。近年来，在我的祖国和中华民族的伟大变化就好了。随着经济增长如此之快，今天的中国已经成为世界上一个强大和富裕的国家。我们已经赢得了全世界人们的尊敬。当我们变得富有，我们不要忘记非洲贫穷的发展中国家和我国的落后地区的贫困人口。我们乐意帮助他们。现在，我还是个学生，但我正在努力工作，使中国更加富强。
