用形容词短语作状语(Disappointed at …)与过去分词作状语(Receiv…)有什么区别

有时候我们也这样总结，我们现在所使用的教材就是把前一类也看做是过去分词作状语。如课本上的例子:
worried
about
the
journey,
i
was
unsettled
for
the
first
few
days.
frighteded
by
the
loud
louse,
i
went
to
see
what
was
hapening.
前者事实是形容词短语去掉be直接做状语，如be
worried
about,
be
frightened
by,
be
dressed
up,
be
lost/absorbed
in
be
born
in...，
语法上来说，不能说分词的动作与句子主语的关系是被动关系。
通常会有语法书把他归纳为分词做状语一类，事实上，我觉得应该归纳为形容词作状语更好理解;如:
cold
and
hungry,
they
stayed
in
snow
for
several
days.
