当人们用不同于"正规的语言"的词或表达方式时，它(这样的词或表达)就叫做一种方言。美式英语有许多方言，尤其是中西部、南部非洲裔和西班牙方言。甚至在美国的一些地方，两个来自邻近城镇的人说话也有些许不一样。美式英语有很多方言，因为人们来自世界各地。地理也参与决定方言。一些住在美国东部山上的人们说一种古老的英语方言。当美国人们从一个地方移居到另一个地方时，他们带着他们的方言一起(迁移)。所以来自美国南部的山上的人们说几乎和在美国北部的人一样的方言。美国是一个巨大的有许多不同的方言被使用的城市。虽然许多美国人移居很远，但是他们仍然能辨认出并理解对方的方言。靠着字典..艰难地人工翻译。括号里的是为了翻译更通顺。望采纳。

when people use words and expressions different from the "standard language" ,it is called a dialect . American English has many dialects , especially the midwestern,southern,African American and Spanish dialects .Even in some parts of the USA, two people from neighbouring towns speak a little differently.American English has so many dialects because people have come from all over the world.Geography also plays a part in making dialects. Some people who live in the mountains lf the eastern USA speak with an older kind of English dialect.When Americans moved from one place to another,they took their dialects with them.So people from the mountains in the southeastern USA speak with almost the same dialect as people in the northwestern USA.The USA is a large country in which many different dialects are spoken. Although many Americans move a lot,they still recognize and understand each other's dialects
