Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) recognizes the importance of internationalization in its ecational strategy. Consequently, its faculty actively works on developing English language courses to cater to a global student population. In addition to the classroom, TUT strives to provide a comfortable living environment and concive study conditions for international students.
During the 2010-2011 academic year, approximately 600 international students were enrolled, hailing from no less than 50 countries, including Armenia, Azerjan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bolivia, Bosnia, Albania, Macedonia, French Polynesia, Guyana, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Philippines, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Egypt, the United Kingdom, Moldova, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, the United States, and Uzbekistan.
TUT currently offers 16 English-taught international study programs, divided into three undergraate and 13 graate options. The undergraate programs, which require a three-year ration and completion of 180 credit points, include:
