English is important because it helps us to communicate better with people from all over the world. Moreover, English is one of the major languages in the entire world.It is a language understood by majority of the people in the world. Hence by learning English we would be able to communicate effectively with people from all over the world without learning any other languages.

Learning English also provides us with an advantage over other non-English speakers when we venture out into the working society as companies would naturally be more interested in hiring bilingual workers.Also, if one is skilled in English, it will also help you in getting chosen by your boss on a working trip to America or even Europe. Also, by learning English means that we can venture abroad to look for vast job opportunities.

Furthermore, there is a huge variety of books like literature, novels, life science which is written in English.

In conclusion, English is a beautiful language which is the first language of many people in the world. Without English, we would be missing out on many things in the world.

Of all the subjects, I like English best.Julia is my English teacher.She has been teaching us for three years and we respect and love her very much.Julia is thirty-eight years old and she is neither tall nor short.
Julia works very hard.She is always the first to come and the last to leave her office.She tries to make her classes lively and interesting.And we enjoy her lessons very much .We are geting on well with each other,and she is very strict with us in our study.
Julia teaches us so well that we all enjoy learning English.We love her.
