because后面应该是跟一个完整的句子。而because of后面应该是跟一个名词性的结构。你记住就行了，这是规则。
那么这句话中，what i had done in class ...你可以看出它不是个完整的句子，而是一个由what引导的名词性的结构。
你要选D可以，但是要改一下：
My parents got angry because what I had done in class several days before is annoying.

what I had done 可以看成一个句子，也可以看成一个名词性短语。根据语感这里看成名词性短语似乎更好。
