我在加拿大上学，我的假条一般是这么写的：

Dear xx:
I went back to my home town to attend my sister's wedding on November 02, and on December 4 I went to Thailand. I apologize for my absence that I could not attend the English class, I can only make it for the midterm/exam/test. I really appreciate your understanding and forgiveness, and please don't hesitate to contact me if anything happens, thank you!

Dear Teacher XXX
How are you!Wish you everything is fine!
Becuase I need to attend my sister's wedding,I went back home on Nov.2nd.As I had a lot of things to do, I could not go back to Thailand until Dec.4th, which means I am now in Thailand.
During this period, I did have no time to attend the English courses, in fact,I can only catch the time to attend the midterm exam.
Your understanding would be deeply appreciated.
