Hi Peter:

I'm sorry but I can't pick you up at the airport at 6pm on Saturday, something came up.

I've made arrangements for a friend of mine, Jerry to pick you up, he'll be driving my car, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. I will give him my cellphone so just call my number if you can't find him.

I told Jerry to drop you off at the hotel that you went to last time, I'll meet you there Sunday at 3pm.

如果要写出不去的原因可以把‘something came up’改成 'my mother-in-law got hit by a car last night and I have to take care of her funeral.

i am regreted to tell you that e to some unexpected affairs i will not be able to meet you at the airport Saturday evening as planned.
I am sorry for that and have arranged one of my friends to meet you at 6 p.m.this Saturday.let's schele a new arrangement and meet each other later.
