看到“Feist”这个像似团名的称呼，加上令人引发无限想像空间的专辑名称“Let It Die”，再搭配似曾相识的外型…..不知是否引发许多乐迷的极度好奇心？曾有人因为“Lounge”乐而找寻Feist的音乐，网路上也曾引起时尚走秀配乐人极度推荐….但，先请大家不要把她与已经泛滥成灾的Lounge乐画上等号哦！这位来自加拿大、原名Leslie Feist的才女Feist，让人有似曾相识的原因，应该是透过挪威清新民谣二人组合Kings Of Covenience/好自在乐团，封面入镜及客席参与发声演唱，渐而存留乐迷脑中的细微影像。高中时期的Feist，与摇滚同好们合组庞克乐团Placebo(请别误会，可不是那组被称为“奇异妖艳Nirvana”的英伦摇滚团)，因为参加比赛获胜，渐渐在家乡打开知名度，更获他们师法的庞克摇滚偶像大团The Ramones邀约，入选加拿大巡回演出之开场团！正当Feist开始往音乐之途迈进时，她的嗓子却罹患莫名疾病，无法再开口演唱，在几乎要放弃歌唱这条路时，老天似乎仍眷顾着她，让Feist寻获高医治愈怪病。喜欢用一把吉他，加上她简简单单舒服动人嗓音的音调，追寻民谣的清新风格，进而成为加拿大老牌摇滚乐团The Tragically Hip北美巡回嘉宾。’99年推出独立制作的首张专辑‘Monarch (Lay Down Your Jeweled Head)’，但直到她加入Post-Rock乐团Broken Social Scence后，才真正打开知名度！随后签入法国Polydor大厂，推出立足国际市场的专辑【Let It Die】，已被MIXMAG誉为“必定收藏之作”并奉上5/5评价，AMG也给了四星半近满分高评，引起全欧的热烈回响！打从开场曲“Gatekeeper”简约的编曲，单纯空心吉他来回拨阵，让周围的空气温暖了起来，Feist慵懒随性的嗓音，渐渐谱入“Mushaboom”之中，就在丰富不嘈杂黏腻的欢愉气氛中快意渡过；同名单曲“ Let It Die”，藉着加入些许冰冷电气润饰，透着为爱伤透心的低压情怀；宣泄如Bossa Nova摇摆调调的“Leisure Suite”，轻松服贴的一抹爵士韵味；翻唱同样来自加拿大的创作才子Ron Sexsmith动人佳作“Secret Heart”，以及Bee Gees畅销作“Inside And Out”令人耳目一新的版本，都是想邀您一听为快的香甜特调佳品！寻求好听、舒服的音乐很简单，更不需要太多理由，为日常紧张生活减压，暂时沉淀繁杂的恼人情绪，Feist的【Let It Die】放空您的烦恼！
