whose “谁的”表示从属关系。先行词可以是物，也可以是人。当指代物时可与of which 互换，eg ：Please pass me the book whose cover（of which the cover / the cover of which) is red.
who 表示先行词是人且在从句中作主语(或宾语).
whom 先行词是人且在从句中作宾语.
that 既可指人,也可指物.作宾语或主语.

定语从句首先要确定先行词。然后把先行词带入定语从句中。如果作定语填whose，如果作主语且是人用who，作宾语且为人用whom，that可以用于是人或事物，可为宾语或主语。

whose可以指人，也可以指物
如：
he is the guy whose nose likes a pen.
can you see the house whose roof is red?
whom
用于在从句中充当宾语
I know who you are and whom you represent.
who
在从句中可作为主语，宾语等，但考试时宾语用whom更好。

which
相对that，稍有在已知的选项中具有一定描述的意思
the one which is red in that basket of fruits is apple.
(指在已知道的具体的一篮子水果中)，当然，也可以用that
