网站上面的原话是：To take internship courses, student should have successfully completed MET AT 722 and MET AT 731, and must maintain an overall GPA of 3.3 or higher。是说要进入实习课程（或者实践性的课程）需要通过MET AT 722和MET AT 731，这些都是BU精算科学的课程代码，MET AT 722的课程叫：Finance for Actuaries，另外731的课程叫：Actuarial Mathematics I，都是比较难的课程了。美国的课程设置，开头那一位数越小，难度越小，例如本科生一般都修1、2、3开头的课而已。
从BU网站看到的，如果你想要申请精算科学硕士（To satisfy the admission requirements for the Master of Science in Actuarial Science degree program, applicants must:）
Have a bachelor’s degree 有本科学历
Have completed two semesters of calculus equivalent to MET MA 123, 124, and 225, and one semester of multivariable calculus equivalent to MET MA 225. 需要完成2学期的微积分学和一学期的多变量微积分学（再提醒一次，MET MA就是课程代码而已）
International students for whom English is not a first language must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). For current information on the TOEFL examination, please visit www.ets.org/toefl. The TOEFL institution score for the Actuarial Science program at Boston University is 3127. （不以英文为第一语言的外国留学生需要提交英文成绩TOEFL，以现在的TOEFL计分原则，BU 精算科学可以接受的分数是3127（当然越高越好）
另外，MET是BU Metropolitan college的学校简写，AT应该就是Actuarial 之类了！
