Abolish、Abrogate、Annul、Rescind、Revoke和Repeal均有废止、取消和撤回含义
abolish 指完全废除制度、风俗、习惯等to abolish slaveryignorance
abrogate 主要指对下属机构签发命令、规则废除或经立法废除法规或习俗等abrogate certain privileges
annul 指终止某事务存或宣布其无效或从未真正存过annul the marriage
rescind常用于合同撤销及经同级或上级机构予撤销或废除规定等rescind an order
revoke 主要指收回或撤销往授予或准予事项形式予废除或废止或废除遗嘱效力to revoke a charter
repeal 主要指立法形式撤销或废除法规、命令、许等to repeal an amendment

institutions, usages, customs, as the abolition of

Revoke: To annul or make void by recalling or taking
bake.
Repeal: To abrogate an existing law by legislative act.
