have many hobbies, such as reading, skating, and watching TV. But reading is my favorite hobby.
I like reading for three reasons.
First of all, books introce me to a new world, which is colourful and without time and space limit, Through reading, I can trace back to ancient Egypt, the cradle of human civilization. It can bring myself to the United states, a glamorous land I have been longing to visit.
Secondly, reading can better myself by showing me a new horizon. In the past years at college, I've learnt a lot from books which I can't get in class. I have learned from many people by reading about their ideas on science, politics, life and society.
Thirdly, reading bridge the gap between my dream and my goal. In ordcr to succeed in my career in the future, I must keep reading, thinking and practising.
Reading has become part of my life. Every day, I spend some time reading books, newspapers and magazines in our school library. At night, I can hardly go to sleep without a novel in my hand. Besides, I've joined our university's reading club and met many new friends and read more books.

My hobbies Different people have different hobbies I have a lot of hobbies like reading books, watching movies and so on. I like reading books because I get lots of know ledge I find more interesting things so I like reading different kinds of books I also like watching movies I enjoy my leisure time so I usually watch movies in my free time it's makes me happy. I think watching movies and reading books are most interesting than any hobbies I love life. My hobbies make life colorful like Chinese book.

My Hobby

I am a 15-year-old student in junior Grade 3. Though I am occupied with my study, I would like to spend time on my hobbies, such as playing the piano, surfing the Internet.

One of my favourite hobby is reading. Reading has been in my life for many years, since I began to learn characters. It can not only kill the time, but also, more important, help improve my comprehension ability. When reading, I can learn a lot. Reading Shakespear's works, I know how Hamlet looks like. Reading Scorates, I can see how great ancient Greek philosophers are. Reading Lu Xu, I come back to the old time of China.

My hobby is swimming.When I was child, I often went to the pool and watched someone swimming ,at that moment, I was thrilled and I hoped I can swim one day.After that, and I spared no effort to learn how to swim.Actually it's hard to learn on the first step and hardly can I give it up,finally I stuck to it with my determination.As far as I'm concerned, swimming is good for us to train our breath, and it can help us build up our body and make us more strong.I do learn a lot from swimming and I will treat it as my favorite forever.
