简单说
barely就是 很少,少到没有
hardly就是 很小(几率,程度,量),小到没有
比如别人问你,你常常去酒吧吗?你说barely,就是不太去,少到几乎不去的意思
你肯定不能说hardly
别人问你,听的见吗?你说hardly,就是基本听不到(能听到的可能性,程度很小,微乎其微)
