Aalen Rolleston was an American man who was interested in mountain climbing. As a mountaineer, Allons was a risk taker. It’s one of the exciting things about doing dangerous sports. There were many times when Allons almost lost his life because of an accident.
On April 26,2003, he found himself in a very dangerous situation while climbing in Utah. On that day, Allons’s arm was dropped on him by a 2000 kg rock while he was climbing the mountain by himself. Because he couldn’t release his arm, he stayed there for five days, hoping someone would find him.
But when his water ran out, he knew he had to do something to save his life. The day he wasn’t ready to die. So he cut off half his right arm with his knife. Then, in his left arm, he bandaged himself so he wouldn’t lose too much blood. After that, he climbed up and down the mountain to ask us for help.
