January of the year 2008, the larg expansion of South China witnessed an unprecedented raging snowstorm in the 50-year long history which had exerted great strictness on the daily lives of people in this area.

I was one of the witnesses. The begining of this storm was the afternoon of January, 24, and it had developed into horror of big gale by that night. Everyone was tortured by the gales that didn't stopped until the advanced night, and they were still suffered from heavy snow who took great pains to stood the whole night.
After it, the ground were covered with a 30-centimeter layer snow which had interrupted the city's traffic and the railway transportation including over a hundred trains and an uncountable number of other trains which were delayed. This news from which I was told that hundreds of vehicles were trapped on the highways was reported in the next morning, I saw on TV that more than 10,000 police and a remarkable number of citizens were clearing away the thick snow on the road, and that's the heaviest snow since the year 19old58, I was told.
