Impose taxes on rich. Welfare. etc.

it cannot be prevented; there will always be the lazy, the ignorant, the unecated, the unfit, the unskilled, the sick and the mentally retarded.

the only thing government can do is get out of the way of business so that opportunity can be there for those who choose to take advantage of that opportunity.

the best solution to poverty is a rip-roaring economy and a healthy, vibrant charitable community.

charity is NOT the business of government.
