这个的确有待商榷。是这样的，如果是美国英语的话，他们说话是很随意的。在我们看来是有语法问题，但是人家一样这么说。
我个人感觉这话有点中式英语。
可以说 too heavy a burden
有这样例句 It is too heavy a box for the boy to carry.
但是这话总体上来说，语法没错，可意思上就是感觉有点中式,因为我们的逻辑习惯不一样
如果是我，我会说
It was too heavy a burden for her and she became sick.个人感觉有点罗嗦，但是不中式吧~
