在定语从句中，当先行词为动物名词时，关系代词可用which，that，whose; 若对动物拟人化，也可以who，whom。动物的代词可以用it，its，itself; 动物名词拟人化时，也可以用he，she，him，her, his，hers，himself，herself。例如：
The tigers which / that killed the keeper / breeder have been shot to death.
She raises a little dog, who brings her happiness.
When I watch TV, my cute cat often curls herself / itself up on the sofa.
The cat which / who / that is licking its / his hair is mine.
