Dear grandmother:I am in Beijing now and I am writing to you to tell you something about the Great Wall. The GreatWall is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, wood and other materials. It was generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China. Its purpose was to protect the Chinese Empire against invasions by various enemies. Today, The GreatWall stretches from Shanhaiguan in the east, to Lop Lake in the west. The GreatWall today is made up of a six-thousand-kilometre wall, trenches and natural defensive barriers such as hills and rivers. I hope that I can visit here again with you.Yours,Betty

How's it going? I got my repord card today. All my grade was good except English.My English grade was disappointing. She said I was a lazy student, Which isn't true?I had a really hard time with English this semester, It's just that I find English test really difficult. So I don't think I was lazy, but I will do better with my writing. At last, I hope you are in good health and tell me sister's grade.
