不是， fell 意为落下，降落 跟arrive/reach 到达 buy 买 close 关 　　post 邮寄 fall 落下 die 死 　　leave 离开 go 去 break 打破 　　lose 丢失 give 给 join 加入 　　receive 接收 borrow 借 move搬 　　hear 听到 同属短暂性动词 依据是发生的时间不长

如果与一段时间连用 必须把它们转化成延续性动词
如borrow→keep, buy→have, begin/start→be on, die→be dead, move to→live in, finish→be over, join→be in/be a member of, open sth.→keep sth. open, fall ill→be ill, get up→be up, catch a cold→have a cold become --- be, come back --- be back, fall asleep --- be asleep, get to/ arrive/reach --- be (in), leave --- be away from, get to know --- know, go (get) out →be out， put on→ wear等 相应地，fall可转化为be fell
例:
1. The old man died 4 years ago.
2. The old man has been dead for 4 years.
3. It is 4 years since the old man died.
4. Four years has passed since the old man died.
5. He joined the Party 2 years ago.
6. He has been in the Party for 2 years.
7. I bought the book 5 days ago.
8. I have had the book for 5 days.
