1． 用以加强语气，表示亲自。

比如: I myself drove the car. 我自己开车。反身代词虽然不能单独作主语，但是可以作主语、宾语或者表语的同位语。
2. 一个句子中再次提到时。

反身代词一般，用于前面已经出现了这个主语，而后面这个主语重复并且这个动作是他本身发生的。这个时候就应该用反身代词。或者是有一些特定的短语也用反身代词。
