请问是要写论文么???
The difference
between the poetic language and ordinary language lies in the way these con-
ceptual metaphors gets extended, elaborated, questioned, or composed. Lakoff
(1990) further proposes the Invariance Hypothesis to characterize the regulari-
ties in both our conceptual and linguistic systems. The invariance Hypothesis
claims that the portion of the source domain that is mapped preserves cognitive
typology. And since the source domains of some metaphorical concepts such
as the understanding of time, states, events, actions, etc. are structured by
image-schemas, it is suggested that reasoning involving these concepts is fun-
damentally image-based.
