They’re holding hundreds of billions of dollars worth of our paper. We also are running hundred of billions of dollars worth of trade deficits with them, as we continue to import their junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned pet food and export, you know, jobs to places where you can pay workers a dollar a month to turn out the stuff that we’re buying from Wal-Mart. So I think our relationship with China has certainly changed. I think they’re basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they’ve been for the last 50 years”.
我不知道中国是不是变了，但是我知道中美的关系肯定是变了。我们看到中美关系变得恶劣了，因为，例如伊拉克战争。他们有用上千亿的美元外汇储备，我们拥有上千亿的贸易逆差。同时，我们依然从中国进口带漆的劣质商品和有毒的宠物食品。然后，众所周知，我们为中国提供大量的就业机会，在中国的某些地方，你甚至可以每月支付1美金，就可以让那些生产沃尔玛出售的商品的人为你工作。所以，我认为，中美的关系的确是变了。我想，他们和50年前一样，依然是一帮暴徒和恶棍。
