英语中比较级前一般不加定冠词the，但遇到以下三种句型时需要加：
1. the + 比较级......，the + 比较级.......句型。
The busier he is, the happier he feels.
The more, the better.
2. the + 比较级 + of the two.......句型。
He is the cleverer of the two brothers.
Of the two brothers, He is the cleverer.
(of the two 也可置于句首）
3. the + 比较级 + 名词，即：比较级修饰名词作定语时。
Which is the larger city, Beijing or New York?
Which is larger, Beijing or New York?
