would rather sb did和would rather sb do的区别：

1、would rather sb did和would rather sb do的表达的意思不同。前者用过去时表示希望某人现在/将会做某事,（暗含事实上是不可能的）。后者仅表示主语宁愿做某事。

2、是否应用于虚拟语气。would rather sb did (didn't do) sth 一般用于虚拟语气。而would rather sb do并没有这个用法。
