St. Patrick’s Day is on March, 17 圣派翠克节在三月17号。 这天是他逝世的日子(the day of St. Patrick’s death)
在北爱尔兰Northern Ireland、爱尔兰Ireland、纽芬兰Newfoundland、Labrador 拉布拉多半岛和Montserrat 蒙塞拉特岛等地，圣派翠克节都是他们的公众假日，人们不用上班可以尽情庆祝、喝酒。

Go to the parade去* People wear green 人们穿绿色的东西在身上 如果你是很虔诚的信徒又很喜欢巧克力，在四旬斋时你就会禁止吃巧克力 Give up chocolate for lent 在四旬斋禁吃巧克力 Lent是四旬斋，指在复活节前40天禁食 People drink, eat, feast, part as much as you want. 人们尽情地喝酒吃东西、参加聚会。
Legend has it that St. Patrick was captured by Irish pirates, and was taken as a slave to Ireland. He had a vision from God that he would help people around the world and be a saint. He became free, magically. He went back to England and brought Christianity to people in Ireland. 传说圣派翠克被爱尔兰海盗俘虏至爱尔兰，但他从上帝得到指示，他会成为圣人并帮助世界上的人。而后他也奇迹似地获得自由，于是圣派翠克回到英国把*教带给爱尔兰的人民。
