Sizzle! Sizzle!
Everyone likes excitement. When people bubble with personal energy, others enjoy being around them. Business firms like to hire a staff that brings zest风味，热心 to the establishment. Some national restaurant chains, for example, train their staff to form an impromptu即席演出 ensemble and sing "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary" to their customers on special occasions. It proces more than noise. People keep ing back.
One restaurant, knowing how people respond to excitement, devised a special plan. When a customer ordered a steak dinner, the chef placed the meal on a hot steel plate. Then, just before the waiter left the kitchen, he would drop an ice cube on the platter.
The waiter was instructed, "Walk slowly to the table. We want everyone to hear the sound of that hot platter." It wasn't the steak that was sizzling极热的, but the ice. The plan worked like instant advertising. If customers were in the process of ordering, they'd hear that sound and choose a steak. The sizzle proced the sale.

Golden Windows
There was a *** all boy living on a farm, he needed to get up before sunrise every morning to start his chores and out again later to do the evening ones.
During sunrise he would take a break and climb up on the fence. So in the distance he could see the house with golden windows. He thought, how great it would be to live there! And his mind would wander to imagine the modern equipment and appliances that might exist in the house. He then promised to himself, "some day I will go there and see this wonderful place."
Then, one morning his father told him to stay at home and his fater would do the chores. Knowing that this was the chance, he packed the sandwich and headed acrossed the fields towards the house with the golden windows.
As the afternoon went on, he begin to realize how he misjudged the distance and something else was very wrong. As he approached the house, he saw no golden windows but instead a place in bad need of painting surrounded by a broked-down fence.
He went to the tattered screen door and knocked. A *** all boy very close to his age opened the door. He asked him if he had seen the house with the golden windows. The boy said, "sure, I know!" And invited him to sit on the porch. As he sat there, he looked back from where he just came, where the sunset turned the windows on his home to gold.

Give Yourself a Relaxing Day
The time you spend at the office may be the most stressful part of your day, but it doesn't have to be. You have a greater ability to shape your office environment than you may realize.
Take breaks throughout the day. It will help clear your mind and relieve pressure. Something as simple as going to the water cooler for a drink may do the trick.
To help your workday go *** oothly, try pacing your activities: Do more demanding work in the morning, when your energy level is higher, and easier work later in the day, when you may be tired.
Try listening to music recordings, such as a pounding surf or songbirds, to help you relax. Such tapes are sold mercially. Use headphones if you'll be listening to them in the middle of the workday.
Get to work early or stay late once a week. You may be able to acplish more when you vary your routine.
If your stress es from job insecurity, take stock of yourself.Update your resume, and remind yourself of your skills and strengths. Also, make sure you keep up with new developments in your field. This will make you valuable to employers.
Don't let work rumors, which are usually false, cause you worry. A co-worker may just be thinking out loud about worst-case scenarios.
