　　GOLF4又叫GOLF MK4，是因为后者添加了大众的生产平台代号，即MK，大众有很多车型都是这个平台上生产的。
　　大众高尔夫（Golf）是一款由大众汽车在1974年推出的经典掀背/小型家用车型，已经在全球市场推出了七代，是大众汽车公司生产最多的品种。

MK is an abbreviation for MARK, it usually describes the generations of different car models.
MARK, as in Mark 1, Mark 2 etc
Mark 1 may be the first edition of say a car
Mark 2 an improvement on it
Mark 3 an improvement on that
