Billups, who was named Second Team All-America by The Associated Press as a sophomore, averaged 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 55 games in his college career. He connected on 120 three-pointers and shot .857 (306-for-357) from the free throw line. He played for USA Basketball's Men's 22-and-under team against the Dream Team ring the summer of 1996, and also played at the 1995 Olympic Festival in Denver. He was named Mr. Colorado Basketball three times while in high school and in 1995 was a McDonald's High School All-American.
