沙与沫

我永远走在这些岸上，
在沙与沫之间。
涨潮会抹掉我的足迹，
海风会吹去这泡沫。
可是海和岸，
却将永远存在。
我曾抓起一把雾。
伸掌一看，雾却成了虫。
我把手握起再张开，看到的是只鸟。
我又一次把手握起张开，掌心站着一个人，满面愁容，翘首仰望。
我再把手握起，张开时，那儿空荡荡只有雾。
但我听到一曲优美动人的歌。
不过就在昨天，我觉得自己是个碎片，在生命的穹苍中毫无节奏地颤动。
如今我知道自己就是穹苍，一切生命都是节奏分明的碎片，在我内心活动。
他们觉醒时对我说：“你和你居住的世界不过是无边大海那无边海岸上的一颗沙子。”
沙与沫我在梦中对他们说：“我就是那无边大海，大千世界不过是我岸上的沙子。”

上帝的第一个字“字”原文为word，即希腊文中的logos，亦可译作“道”。上帝的word可指耶稣，这符合纪伯伦一贯把耶稣视为人而非神的思想。是人。
