对称格式？其实英文婚礼邀请函的格式跟一般信件的格式是差不多的，大致应该是以下的写作方法——

　　Dear XXXX（人名）,
　　OO（要结婚的另一方） and I have set the date — and we want you to be the first to know it. We’re going to be married very quietly at the Community Church on Thursday, June the twelfth, at noon.
　　We want you to come to the ceremony, and also to the wedding banquet afterward at home.
　　We’ll be looking for you, XXXX, at eleven!
　　With my best regards!

　　With Love,
　　NAME（邀请人的名字）
　　翻译过来的意思大概是这样的

　　亲爱的XXXX，

　　OO和我已经决定了婚期，我们首先让您知道，婚礼定于六月十二日（星期四）正午在社区教堂举行。（日期和地点可以自行改动）
　　我们邀请您参加我们的婚礼，典礼结束后，请您出席在家中举行的喜宴。
　　我们期待着您在十一点到来！
　　致以我们最诚挚的问候！
　　您最亲爱的
　　名字

　　记住婚礼邀请信一定要将邀请的时间(年、月、日、钟点)、地点、场合写清楚，不能使接信人存在任何疑虑。例如:“I’d like you and Bob to come to Lunche on next Friday.”这句话中所指的是哪个星期五并不明确，所以应加上具体日期, “I’d like you and Bob to come to luncheon next Friday, May the fifth.”
