表示本可以做某事,但事实上没做
2.不可以...however是副词啊...副词不能直接修饰名词
3.but...意思是让这部书难懂的不是语种上而是那些当地的白话(俚语)
有转折的意思在里面...
4.his...因为the owner and captain是同一人- -即是船长又是船主
如果是两个人的话是the owner and the captain...船主和船长
5.shall 用作第一人称I 和we... should随意
6.let sb alone 让某人独自一个...
语意会有偏差 比如let me alone 就是让我一个人静一静的意思
如果let him alone 就也会有让他去的意思
7.选B...因为这句话前半句是ing分词引导的,the fields are已经有be动词are了...所以逗号前的半句不能出现谓语动词,所以用ing做非谓语
具体你自己百度或者查 非谓语的用法
8.选B...这个我不清楚啊...
9.excuse from是借口与某人疏远
10.不管好歹...谚语应该是

2、 however可以引导名词性从句吗？ 不能。however只能接形容词或副词。

为什么不选A 用完成时态？？？？ 因为主句（逗号后）已经是完整的句子，有宾语，所以逗号前面部分的句子只能有分词或不定式。
