also 用来表示提供关于某人/某物的更多信息或者补充其他相关事实 (give more information about a person or thing, or to add another relevant fact)。例如：

～I made a few changes in thisarticle; I also supplemented it with one short paragraph. 这篇文章我改动了几处，另外又补充了一小段。

in addition 用来表示提出与讨论主题有关的另一个项目 (mention another item connected with the subject discussed)。例如：
～Part-time English classes are offered. In addition, students can take classes in word-processing and computing. 开设非全日制的英语班；另外，学生可以修读文字处理和计算机课程。
