1.本意，无上觉，即佛教中觉3种境界之一，自觉觉他的智慧、功行均达到最高、最*境地；类“无上正等正觉”，实亦佛陀别称；直译“阿耨多罗三藐三菩提”；Full enlightenment, also called perfect enlightenment, hence one of the three supreme states in Buddhism showing wisdom, meditation and practice achieving the top and most perfect level; or, another name for the Buddha meaning anuttara-samyak-sambodhi(阿耨多罗三藐三菩提，梵语); hence an alternative name for Buddha
2.人人本具之真心；具足重德即圆，照破无明乃觉；Uncut jade-like(璞玉般的) true prakrti(自性，梵语) of everybody, of which Yuan, the fulfillment indicates virtues gained, whereas Jue, the awareness shows seeing through avijja(无明，梵语)
3.已超轮回（生死）的修行次第（境界，佛教术语为“乘”）之一，次于佛陀（buddha）、菩萨（菩提萨埵，bodhisatva）；另有声闻（Sravakayana ）、辟支佛（pratyeka buddhas，pacceka buddha）、阿罗汉（arhat）；an advanced practice state surpassing samsāra(轮回，梵语), saying, out of constraint of life and death afterwards
