假设你叫李华，本周日上午你班的外教要组织你们进行一次户外郊游活动，但你昨天下午打篮球时扭伤了脚，医生建议静养休息，为此你想和外教请假，希望得到准许，并祝他们玩得高兴，请你就以上内容给Mr.Smith写个请假条。字数100字左右，可适当增加细节！

Dear Mr. Smith,

I'm writing to inform you that I'll not be able to go on the excursion scheled for this Sunday. In fact, I twisted my left ankle yesterday afternoon ring a basketball game. I jumped up trying to block a shot, and landed awkwardly on someone's foot. My ankle hurt like a hell at the moment, and I could barely walk. Then my teammates rushed me to the hospital, where I had my ankle X-rayed and fortunately there was nothing broken, just a bad sprain. Nonetheless, the doc strongly suggested that I should rest my ankle at home for three days.

Although I have to remain in bed and can't go have fun with you guys, I wish you all a great weekend and a wonderful excursion. Don't worry about me, 'll be seeing you guys next Monday!

中文和英文有文化和习惯差异,请假条也是一样,如把中文的一句句的翻成英文,老外会觉得很奇怪,比如说"得到准许",外国学生从来不会这样说和写,一般都是应该叫告假条,就是告诉老师发生了什么情况,不会说请许可等官话,还要注意,这里郊游一定要用常用固定句field trip,而非travel之类的词.

I twisted my ankle yesterday afternoon when i played basketball.Doctor asked me to stay in bed.I am afraid i can go to the field trip this Saturday.Sorry for that.You know how much i want to be there.Please take more pictures and share the joy with me when you are back.Hope you have much fun!

I'm sorry I can’t go to school today. I went to play basketball yesterday afternoon. Unluckily, I Sprained my ankle, but I wasn't badly hurt. The doctor asked me to stay in bed and have a good rest. So I ask for a leave for today's travel.
