可做宾语，主语，状语。例如：Those that are in the same boat should row together.同舟共济（谚语），其中“that”在从中作主语。

The first thing that we should do now is to fulfil the task as early as possible.现在我们要做的首要事情是尽早完成任务。“that”在从句中充当宾语。

The direction that(=on which) a force acts can be changed.力作用的方向是可以改变的。“that”在从句中充当方式状语。

that是定语从句的关系代词，之所以叫代词是因为that引导的从句缺少主语或宾语成分，要用that来替代
that后句子成分完整的是同位语从句

定语从句里面的that绝对是做成分的
（只是做宾语的时候可以省略）
同位语从句里面的that才是不作成分
