Lovestory这首歌属于乡村音乐，并不属于民谣。
乡村音乐和民谣音乐主要的区别在于
"其实拿乡村和民谣的歌各一首都听一听就知道了。不过真要区分的话，乡村的重点是叙事，描述美国普通人生活中的琐事，乡村的配乐上要华丽很多，不仅仅是吉他。如果听的是比较传统的乡村的话，你会觉得这种歌很乡土，或者就说是土吧。当然最近很多的歌都是country pop了，我觉得那些歌大半可以算是流行了，只不过带了点乡村的元素。
至于民谣，我理解应该指的是folk，配乐大多以吉他为主，很多时候就只有一把吉他。大家描述听感的时候会很频繁地用到“小清新”一词，当然也不尽然，但很多是这样。folk的主题上不仅有琐碎的生活，也有很多哲理性的思考，比如迪伦的许多歌。"

对的，他确实是民谣，因为他非常的出名，而且都很多人都很喜欢这首，所以的话他就是民谣。
